June 4-11, 2016

Here is your chance to learn more about shark behavior and have fun diving in the clear, warm water of Fiji.

Under the guidance of Erich K. Ritter PhD, top authority and pioneer in shark-human interaction, divers will learn how to interact with sharks, what to look for when entering the water and most importantly how to feel safe among sharks.

During Shark Week, you will gain a wealth of knowledge at seminars and then put your new skills to the test among free roaming sharks within changing situations to give a through introduction to different scenarios.

The main purpose for this week will be to bring humans closer to sharks, focusing on how to interact with them and to emphasize their crucial position and importance in the marine realm.  By sharing his passion for sharks, Erich is raising public awareness about how important sharks are for the oceans and for life on this planet.  Come join us for this very memorable and educational week at Beqa Lagoon Resort.  Following Shark Week at Beqa, guests will want to also render themselves as ambassadors promoting the protection and preservation of sharks, a much needed advocate for these amazing creatures.

The cost of the course is $699.00 (US) per person add-on to your Beqa Lagoon Resort 7 nt Dive Package.  Course includes 6 daily seminars and 10 shark dive upgrades.
